Unsuitability refers to a recommendation to make an investment that is outside the guidelines that are appropriate for an investor. What is most commonly seen is an unsuitable investment that is too risky for the investor. If an investor only wants low risk investments or even once only moderate investments, but is recommended into high risk investments, those are the typical unsuitable cases that we see.
